Adventure Science Center

Adventure Science Center (ASC) inspires visitors of all ages to learn more about science, technology, engineering and math in a fun, dynamic and interactive environment. Visitors can scale the seven levels of the Adventure Tower, tour the systems of the human body in BodyQuest and become a jet pilot in the full-motion flight simulator BlueMax. Last year, ASC welcomed more than 253,500 visitors representing all 50 states including school groups throughout Tennessee (46 counties), Kentucky, Alabama, Indiana and Louisiana. In 2008, the all-new Sudekum Planetarium will reopen to take visitors to the outer limits with its modern, high definition, 360° full-dome theater with explosive surround sound.

Help Us Reach For The Stars!

Support the all new Sudekum Planetarium and Space Chase!

The depths of the cosmos just got a lot closer to home for the children and adults in Middle Tennessee and beyond. After years of careful planning and preparation, the new Sudekum Planetarium and Phase I of the Space Chase exhibits are open!

Space Chase Phase II is waiting in the wings, ready to further stimulate minds across the Mid-South. We need funding to finish these exciting exhibits including the Infinity Star Chamber, Cosmic Ray’s and the Observatory.

The cost for the new Sudekum Planetarium and Space Chase exhibit hall is $21.4 million and we are only $1.3 from our goal. We must reach our goal in the next few months in order to open Phase II on time and to receive a prestigious $400,000 challenge grant from the Kresge Foundation.

Please help us reach our goal! Gifts of all sizes will help us cross the finish line and bring Phase II to life for the Middle Tennessee community!
