Honesty: Be Honest

Honesty: Be Honest

Our honesty in the world teaches our kids about the principle. Think about it.

Take a minute and answer these questions. Be honest. You are the only one who knows your answers:

What do you do if the store clerk gives you too much change? Do you lie about your age? Did you report all of your income on your taxes this year? Do you do your child’s homework?

If we want our children to speak and act truthfully, then we need to do the same. We need to live the truth in the big things and the small things. Little eyes are watching!

Quick Tip:
Watch Liar! Liar! with Jim Carrey. It’s a great example of how a parent’s honesty affects his child.

Definition:
Honesty is speaking and acting truthfully; living the truth.
