Water Use Inventory
Get the kids involved in saving water at home. In recognition of World Water Day this Saturday, make sure you're doing your part to consume less water to begin with. Start with the bathroom and add a bottle of pebbles to the toilet tank. Then, visit every sink in the house, checking for drips and leaks. After that, talk about the water-saving benefits of taking quick showers. Also, make sure everyone is turning off the water while they are brushing their teeth. Then, you can use this worksheet to calculate how much your family will be saving each month. It's a conservation and math lesson all in one!
