Set An Example
Set an example by exercising with your kids. The best way to teach our kids anything is to lead by example. Our positive example is invaluable to our kids rather than the "do-as-I say-not-as-I-do" mindset. Show your kids the value of exercise by doing it together. Exercise is great for cranky kids and crabby parents! Take a hike or walk around the neighborhood. Do some yoga in the living room as a family or some jumping jacks. It's important to show your kids that exercise is important. Take time for yourself to exercise without your kids, too. This'll show them it's an essential part of being healthy.
