5 minutes of caring

Nalgene + Brita = GOING GREEN

Nalgene + Brita = GOING GREEN

Make a pledge to ditch plastic water bottles.

We're big advocates of reusable bottles for that much needed daily water. Check-out the Nalgene-Brita partnership that encourages ditching plastic bottles. Have your kids make the pledge for a week, a month or even a year to use reusable bottles (you can make it, too). Make the pledge.
We know sometimes there's no choice when dehydration strikes and bottled water may just be inevitable. More than 60 million plastic bottles are thrown away DAILY, so don't forget to recycle.

good tip michelle, just be sure to choose #2, #4, or #5 plastic when selecting a bottle. #3, #6, & #7 are VERRRRRY bad.

i wrote a post about it a while back over at my place, the Fun Times Guide to Living Green.

here it is:

btw, those popular, colorful, hard plastic nalgene bottles ARE #7...yikes.
