Where'd You Get Those Peepers?
Eye safety for our children is more important than we may think. We've talked about safe toys, but eye safety isn't just about sharp objects. The more you learn about your children's eyes, the better you can help protect them! Our kids get their eyes checked periodically at each of their well-doctor's visits and don't go to see an eye doctor until they are 3 to 4 (unless there are problems). For kids 3+ there are some great home tests you can do. Take some time to check out your child's eyesight and if you have any concerns, see an eye doctor immediately, as unattended injuries can cause permanent damage.
