5 minutes of caring
Don't Waste Christmas
Give a gift that minimizes excess. Forget someone on your list? If so, we're here to help (as always). Tomorrow, give a waste-free gift. With a waste-free gift, you usually don't need to worry about all that ribbon and wrapping paper. And, giving such a gift can be less about consumption and more about activity. How about some golf lessons? A day at the park? A donation in someone's name? They may not fit in stockings, but these gifts will brighten someone's holiday. And, attaching a thoughtful note will make it seem like you didn't wait until the last minute. Make memories instead of trash.

My co-worker and I donated to Heifer International (go to heifer.org to check it out if you haven't!) in honor of our fellow co-workers this year. I also am trying to give more "experiences" than "stuff". I have given tickets to ballgames, concerts, and movies have gotten great responses. I also get to spend quality time with friends and family this way!
