Take a journey with the kids today and have them tell it to you in a story.

Plan an outing with the family! Here's what you will need:

• Pad of paper
  
• Pencil
  
• Sunscreen
  
• Weather-appropriate clothes
  

Choose a place with enough walking space. As you all walk together, ask your kids to tell you a story with what they see on their journey. Encourage them to be creative and use anything they see. Write it down in their words and ask questions to probe them to go even deeper. If you have multiple kids, have them take-turns and play off each other's stories. At bed-time, read their story and remember the fun day!
